About Us/Our Mission:
Serve your community, learn valuable skills, and become part of a team that makes a difference when it matters most with the Pella Volunteer Fire Department. The department provides fire and rescue services for the City of Pella and surrounding rural communities, responding to fires, vehicle accidents, water rescues, hazardous material incidents, confined-space emergencies, and other calls for help. Members also provide mutual aid to neighboring communities, support fire and rescue needs at the Pella Municipal Airport, and help educate local children about fire safety. As a volunteer firefighter, you’ll receive training, build lifelong skills and friendships, and have the opportunity to give back to your community in one of the most meaningful ways possible.

Schedule: Weekdays, Weekends, Daytime, Evenings
