The Spirit of Pella is a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting people through collaborative community-based projects centered around interactive art, public gathering spaces, a magical holiday season, and special events to preserve our heritage and support an abundant future.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

Volunteer position is applicable for Adults
Requirements or Special Skills: Ability to lift 30 lbs.
Volunteer Position Description: Your community spirit will help our Event Committee bring Fab Foodie Fridays, Oktoberfest, and other special events to life! We’re looking for people who love this community, enjoy having fun, and are excited to help create memorable experiences for friends and neighbors. This is a great way to get involved without a huge time commitment. 

As an Events Volunteer, you could be tasked with:

• Helping plan simple event details with the committee
•  Assisting with day-of event set-up and decorations
• Greet guests and lend a hand to neighbors attending the event
• Supporting light clean-up and packing things away when we’re done

No special experience is required — just a positive attitude and a willingness to pitch in. We’ll show you what to do and work as a team. Jump in and Catch the Spirit!!

Location: Pella

SCHEDULE:

Length of Volunteer Opportunity: Ongoing
Estimated Hours per Week: less than 1 hour a week
Schedule: Friday evenings, one Saturday in October
Time of Year Volunteers are Needed: Fridays evenings, June through August 21, Friday and Saturday, October 9 and 10
