About Us/Our Mission:

The Pella Area Community & Economic Alliance (PACE Alliance) serves as both the Chamber of Commerce and economic development organization for Pella, Iowa, with a mission to lead, advocate, and influence the area’s economic vitality, community collaboration, and quality of life. It supports local businesses through networking, marketing, and advocacy, attracts and retains new businesses and workforce talent, and drives downtown and community development to ensure Pella remains a vibrant place to live and work. Through member benefits, events, and focused councils in business, economic, workforce, and downtown development, PACE fosters growth, collaboration, and investment while highlighting and celebrating community impact.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

Volunteer position is applicable for adults
Volunteer Category: Community Events
Requirements or Special Skills: Ability to lift 30 lbs
Volunteer Position Description: Help plan and implement community events, empty garbage, block streets, guide vendors to locations
Location: Pella

SCHEDULE:

Length of Volunteer Opportunity: Ongoing
Estimated Hours per Week: 6
Schedule: Weekday Evenings
Time of Year Volunteers are Needed: Thursdays in May, June & July from 3-9 pm; Fridays and Saturdays in late Nov through Dec 22
