About Us/Our Mission:

Habitat for Humanity of Marion County wants a world where everyone has a safe and affordable place to live. We do this through two programs: Critical Home Repair which helps with critical health, safety and accessibility issues in owner-occupied homes, and our New Home program which builds a brand new home that will be sold to an eligible family through a low-interest mortgage and down payment assistance.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

Requirements or Special Skills: We can accommodate a variety of skill levels. Construction experience is appreciated, but not required.
Volunteer Position Description: Help make dreams of homeownership a reality for hardworking, low-income families in our new home construction builds. Volunteers assist with framing, siding, flooring, trimming, painting, installing doors and windows, landscaping and more!
