Owner, Jayne Stark, became a
HOUSE OF COLOUR consultant in 2020 although the House of Colour brand has been around for over 35 years. So, how did the concept of color analysis begin? Well, it started in the 1930’s when a new science emerged that helped determine the skin undertones of people and how it related to what colors best complimented the appearance of people. Today House of Colour has thousands consultants working for them all over the globe, and we are lucky enough to have Jayne, a consulting specialist, right here in Pella Iowa!
So, how did Jayne discover this world of color consulting? She explained the start of her journey, “A couple of years ago I was ready to just go through my closet and I stumbled upon House of Colour. I researched and decided that color analysis was a simple way to know what to keep in my closet. I knew what colors I looked best in and what I needed to look for when I went shopping.
