PELLA IMPACT AWARDS
The Pella community has been fortunate to have an abundance of businesses, organizations and individuals whose actions, programs, philanthropic spirit and civic mindedness have made Pella the great community it is today.
We ask you to take a moment and consider an individual or business that has positively impacted our community and nominate them for consideration. We will accept nominations for our Pella Impact Awards from our membership and from the general public. Recipients of the awards will be recognized at the Alliance Annual Membership Meeting on February 23, 2018.
Please submit your nomination(s) by Friday, January 26. Nominations will be reviewed by the Chairs of the 5 PACE Alliance Councils.
NOMINATIONS WILL BE MEASURED BY THE FOLLOWING: Overall impact to the quality of life in Pella, collaboration/partnerships, innovative programs or event, products or marketing, entrepreneurial spirit, impact to the local economy, and longevity of impact on the community.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Any individual, business or organization serving or operating in the Pella area is eligible for an award. Preference will be given to PACE Alliance member nominations. Business Impact Award: A business that has been a leader in their field through product development, marketing, advancements in their field, technologies, or employee program. Open to a business or organization.
Community Impact Award: Open to an individual, organization or business that is measurably improving the quality of life and the betterment of the Pella Community through volunteer efforts, community focused initiatives, education projects or other methods.
Spotlight Pella Award: Open to an individual or business who has brought a positive spotlight on Pella through their marketing, programs, event, products or innovation through regional, state or national recognition. Through their actions others know of the Pella Community.
1. When are nominations due?
Nominations will be accepted from January 1- 26, 2018.
2. Who can nominate?
Nominations will be accepted from members of the PACE Alliance and the general public. Nominees may be self-submitted or nominated by others.
3. What is required?
Please fill out the nomination form with examples of how they are making an impact.
4. When will the awards be presented?
The Pella Impact Awards will be presented to the recipients during the PACE Alliance Annual Breakfast on February 23, 2018.
