The J.K.F. Auditorium is a completely renovated 329-seat multi-purpose facility, and is home to theatrical and musical performances and classes, public meetings, political forums, lectures and special events that occur throughout the year.
Each summer the Community Center offers a variety of theater classes and programs for students grade 1 thru 12. These classes are designed to be inclusive and explore all aspects of theater including set design, costumes, learning a part and participating in a production. No auditions are necessary for participation. Programs vary in length from 1 to 6 weeks. Classes are announced in May and registration is available through Community Services.

The Kruidenier Center houses two black box theatres – a 200-seat mainstage theatre and a 75-seat studio theatre. A scene shop, costume shop, makeup and dressing rooms, box office, lounge (greenroom), classrooms and faculty offices are also part of the Kruidenier Center. The equipment is professional quality. Both the main stage and studio theatres have state-of-the-art light boards and a computerized sound-editing program is available for sound design.

- Pella Shakespeare Festival
The Pella Shakespeare Festival exists to bring fresh, fun, simple and well-spoken Shakespeare to the public of Pella and it's surrounding communities. Utilizing classical works, community actors, quality production values and unusual performance spaces within the park system, the Pella Shakespeare Festival aims to entertain, educate, and unite multigenerational audiences. The festival is typically held each June in West Market Park.

The Union Street Players is Pella’s award-winning community theater. Consistently voted the best performing group in Marion County, the non-profit stage troupe produces up to four main stage shows each year. Auditions are always open to the public and USP productions afford a unique opportunity for individuals to plug-in to the community and meet new friends. In addition, the USP Costume Shop is open each Saturday morning. The volunteer staff provides economical costume rentals for individuals and groups.
