Iowa's Wildcats

The Iowa DNR and Iowa State University have been conducting bobcat research in south-central Iowa to explore bobcat ecology in Iowa.  We will describe the behaviors of radio-tagged bobcats in the research project, and where bobcats can be found in Iowa.  We will also describe methods used for wildlife research for other species, displaying the various equipment used, and search for our own hidden transmitters.  Come learn what bobcats eat, what scent they leave behind, and the sounds of bobcats.  Outdoor programs cancelled if raining.  For more information, call 628.8690.
