The Pella Chamber of Commerce is made up of three departments: The Chamber which focuses on the business community; the Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) which markets the Pella area to visitors; and Positively Pella which helps new and potentially new residents transition smoothly to a new community.  The Pella Area Development Corporation operates independently of the Chamber but compliments the economic development strategies of the Chamber.

The Chamber is funded through membership dues and sponsorships.  A ten-member board of directors guides the policies, positions and actions of the Chamber.  The Chamber has a full-time Executive Director, Karen Eischen, who serves a dual role as Executive Director of the Chamber and the Pella Area Development Corporation; an office manager; and a part-time support staff person.

The Convention & Visitors Bureau is funded through a portion of the hotel/motel tax collected within Pella.  The CVB has a 13- member advisory board of directors which reports to the Chamber Board.    Jill Vandevoort serves as the director and has a part time assistant.

Positively Pella is funded by four corporations: Central College, Pella Corporation, Pella Regional Health Center and Vermeer Corporation.  Positively Pella has a six-member advisory board of directors which reports to the Chamber Board.  Lexi Kanis is the director of the Positively Pella program.

The Pella Area Development Corporation is supported through municiple funds.  PADCO has a ten-member board who oversees development initatives in and around the City of Pella.
