We recognize the importance for building relationships, sharing knowledge, learning, support, and problem-solving for the success and longevity of businesses big and small. Below are some of the ways the PACE Alliance is providing professional connections and development.

Annual Meeting – Late February

The PACE Annual Meeting celebrates the accomplishments, looks ahead to programs and activities of the upcoming year, and honors the business and individual recipients of the Hall of Fame Excellence Awards.

Connect & Conquer

Topical education sessions. Topics are determined by the questions and needs of our membership. Each session is taught by a PACE member who is an expert on the topic discussion.

PBX (Pella Business Exchange) –  2nd Tuesday of the Month

Casual gathering of members over drinks and appetizers to talk about common challenges and wins as a small business owner. Open discussion, peer-to-peer advice and sharing of experiences. Small business owners, budding entrepreneurs, employees, HR professionals…it’s a gathering for everyone!

Quarterly Meetings

Held over breakfast, these meetings feature a guest speaker to give members updates on timely projects and topics that affect your business and provides a great opportunity to meet and network with other Alliance members.

Thursdays In Pella – Each Thursday in June & July; 6-9 pm

Enjoy summer with a mini-festival filled with activities centered around a different theme each week.  Food, music, activities for young and young at heart in downtown Pella.

Golf Outing – Late August

Annual Charity Golf Outing. This event is full of collaboration as we bring together 128+ golfers, 30+ sponsors, and 25+ volunteers each year for an awesome day of golf, networking, and fun all for a good cause! The connections made at the golf outing always surprise us each year. It is exciting to see what comes to fruition when you put a group of innovators, trailblazers, and doers on a golf course!

Tour of Stores – Monday prior to Thanksgiving

Pella’s official kick-off to Christmas!  Enjoy the official start to the Holiday season in Pella as we light the tree on the Tulip Toren, horse-drawn carriage rides, listen to Christmas carols, a visit with Santa, and lavishly decorated stores and their delectable Christmas treats!  What better way to start the Holidays in downtown Pella!  Sponsorship opportunities are available to create Hallmark moments for hundreds of employees, residents, and guests.

Ribbon cuttings

Ribbon cuttings are a great way for the member to announce their business in the community. The Dutch Greeters come out to “Dutch Greet” and congratulate the member.  All members are welcome to join the Dutch Greeter committee.
